I have a jenny wren, its small but it does actually pack a punch for such a tiny hawk and its a great thrower to boot.

I have to agree.. it actually chops better than you would think… it will get you by in a pinch… this is one of my favorite hawks to throw though!

I have 4 CRKT Kangee Tomahawks. I keep one in each vehicle. I absolutely love them. They're rock solid quality and can't beat them for the price.

My beef with the Chogan is the exposed tang and the bit at the bottom that catches on the meat of your hand when you chop. Other than that it's great. I might like the Jenny Wren as something for my battle belt, so it doesn't dig into my leg.

I just got one of those the other month as well Tac, I love it! It is definitely NOT for camp tasks or open battle, BUT ideal for CQB. Close in, it is devastating, especially inside confined spaces like houses, caves, etc. Think along those lines.

When I got my CRKT Kangee T-hawk, i was considering the jenny wren as I didn't want to spend too much at the time (jenny wren was way cheaper at the time). Looked at the stats of it and just waited till I really wanted that Kangee 😂. Looks like a neat lil thing, but niche use.

Yeah man if this is what I got to work with in battle something has went seriously... seriously.... seriously..... wrong!!! I keep a nice fixed blade on my plate carrier or in a scout carry sheath on my battle belt but I've never prescribed to the knife fighting thing so I would never carry something like this either it just don't have any kind of use to me. That said if you go back through history there's been all kinds of different style tomahawks some are a good bit smaller then this and there's all kinds of people that's done some pretty badass $h!t with them and different kinds of knives. I'm just more of a guns and bullets kind of guy but again I'm sure there's people roaming the earth today that could do some serious damage even with this little guy... I have one, I love the way it throws! One of the easiest hawks I have to make stick.. I keep it on my work bag. I dont think you could use it for breaching, I don’t think the steel Would hold up.

This tomahawk is used for CQB and working in a small space taking on an attacker or to defend, it can come in handy as an outdoor tool if you were in a survival situation and had nothing else to use....you need to think of it as any combat blade, and use it as such...

Excellent small Tomahawk. I have one. This is a great pack tomahawk. The top edge is useful as hell. Tomahawks are a Wood Processing Tool. Battle is secondary. 😜 Happy New years Eve !!! Yes a Bigger tomahawk is better of course. Jenny ren is a Backup tomahawk.

I would think its more of a bushcraft hatchet, when size would be an issue. Maybe something to keep in the car if you needed to build a fire and needed to process some small stuff down into kindling, or feather stick stuff. I keep a Gransfors Bruks hatchet in my car for that purpose, but I think its a 14 inch. For those calling it a fighting tool, I think I'd prefer a Bowie style knife instead TBH. 🤷‍♂️ Its cute, I guess. Maybe its a hobo hatchet, you know... when you need something small to carry for train hoppin. 😂

CRKT makes good folders but alot of their other tools aren't well thought out , in execution and materials...saw a few fixed blade Knives I thought were good but they were in SK5 Or SK85 ...that shit usually rolls in about 5 minutes ....cheers Tac !;:;:; Spook
