One of the best stories I have heard to date. Thanks.

A great story, suspenseful, potential happy ending, it could also go badly. She really learned to express herself! Fun to hear the commercials from 1979. Enjoyed on 10/27/2022. A different kind of mystery. Let’s see if the psychoanalyst helped Laura!

Takeaways: The police and Jerry were doing everything they could; only the mother had no patience, no empathy. Astral projection may be real but I've never heard of physical manifestations of it and I don't believe it, but it makes a darn good story. Fascinating. She was told to repeat "I must come out of myself" and she LITERALLY went out of herself.

Before the story started, there was shown a teaser trailer for Death Wish. Does Hollywood HAVE to remake every classic motion picture?! They're rarely as good as the original.

They do! But we only see the ones financed, produced and released. Few sequels are better than the original. It’s in their blood though, ever hopeful for a cash cow hit!

Has anyone out there been hypnotized? Did you remember what happened or is it like you're missing time?

I remember hearing, “think and grow rich”, well I liked the sound of that so it stuck with me. So I sold millions of shares in the market and bought Twitter this week! I succeeded! Wait, drat, it was all a dream, sigh.

Scary. My first name is Laura.
@-Reagan4 жыл бұрын
Yes! Right!? I had the same experience. My name is not common in real life, but characters from so many shows and soap operas have made it a retro pop-culture classic. Yours is also a pop-culture icon in the same way. Do you like it? I have always liked the name Laura. I wonder, can you guess my first name? When people meet me, sometimes they like to say it three times. Also, "Why's it always (my name)"? It's also a meme with an *eyeroll* haha" At least three of these stories feature a lead character who shares my name, and a lot feature a lead with yours - (I listen to these to go to sleep; probably more than I should heh). There is at least one classic episode of the Twilight Zone (also available as a radio episode) where the lead female shares my name and one that has yours, too. It always startles me a bit when I hear my name like that. It's eerie, isn't it? More so because the stories are old. In the Twilight Zone episode I mentioned, they call my name over and over, beckoning in a host of luring, disembodied voices rising to a cacophony. She's in a deserted area of a department store, after hours and the mannequins are calling her. It's called "The After Hours". One that features "Laura" is called "The Trouble with Templeton".

@- Reagan, hi Marsha. Interesting episode! I love the old radio and TV shows including Rod Serling’s, The Twilight Zone! That episode gave clues as to who/what Marsha was at the store. To see the final look from the employee walking past Marsha, priceless look on his face!
