I think everyone who needs help relaxing and falling asleep needs to listen to these great stories or Twilight Zone episodes. What a way to fall asleep!! I look forward to bedtime, that's for sure!! It's a treat hearing these amazing stories and conking out to them-they relax you and send you off to dream land!! I just go back into my history and replay each story as long as I need to to hear the entire stories. Enjoy!! And to those posting, thanks for sharing!! Great mental stimulation and exercise so the brain doesn't need cues from our eyes all the time!! Hearing a gripping tale like this is pure bliss!!✌️

This was an interesting plot, but I was a mail carrier, and it's totally implausible that such a conscientious carrier would take a piece of mail home and not back to the PO at the end of his day.

I agree. I'm a carrier.

I hope he doesn't ask for identification at every house he delivers letters to. He'd never get his round done. Anyway, a good story.

Leon killed as a Marine in 1941? The US didn’t declare war until December 1941, but the letter was mailed August 01, 1941.
