I loved these as a “tween” in the mid 70’s. Now, I’m just recovering from surgery and radiation treatments and pain and fatigue keep me stuck in my recliner most of the day. These nostalgic episodes are a real Godsend! 🙂❤️

Our experiences parallel although I began listening to these in my early 20s. Your unfortunate health experiences sound familiar as well. God bless.

Hope you're doing better, Todd. Poor health now, and memory of happier times can make for a curious combination sometimes. These certainly bring back a much more pleasant time in my own life. Get well, fellow 👍

My dad beat cancer twice in his late seventies. I hope you are healthy and happy. I never want to get cancer because im allergic to pain medications. I would have to suffer. On the plus side i wont get addicted to anything.

I grew up listening to Radio Mystery Theater every night at 11pm. I had a clock radio with a headphone jack and stereo FM output. I always managed to stay up too late and was tired the next morning, but it was worth it.

Listened to this with my little sister, tonight. It was creepy. We enjoyed it. I use to listen to this show decades ago. Still good!!!

Very good episode! Just recently started listening to these type programs, here in late summer 2022. Winter of 2023 will be much better with mystery theater's as company to me on those long cold nights.

Ooooh, I just love these. Right now in eastern NC it's raining and even thundering (rarely happens in Feb). Going to sleep with this on, perfect.

Did it snow within 2 weeks after? It does that typically in NC . Susan from Durham NC 😀

More enjoyable than most horror movies. Good acting, soundtrack and spooky stories. Something about closing your eyes in a dark room and imagining. The dialogue pacing is also more constant without interferefence which I enjoy. Great entertainment still in 2024!

I was a kid with a little transistor and earphone...it was always sad when the 9-volt died! Still a thrill, I especially love the early to mid 70s eps for that reason.

This was a good one. But gezzz, the wives in these always mess things up. Could've left earlier. I like this show and The Whistler reminds me of the yesteryears.
