For Christmas 1973, I got a GE portable radio. I loved tuning into radio stations that were far from my home. One of those stations was KDKA in Pittsburgh. That was so exotic to me. And that's how I discovered the CBS Radio Mystery Theater, which made its debut in January 1974. This is one of the first episodes I remember. Already 50 years ago. Wow.

I did that too. Although the show was on late where I lived and the next day was always a school day so I had to listen with an earphone under my blanket.
