CBS' Sets Cast For New Daytime Soap, 'Beyond the Gates'

Great news for the genre, but honestly I am shocked. I thought the daily daytime drama was on life support. I saw Carla Mosley at a local Trader Joe’s a few months ago but we did not chat. I will definitely watch a couple episodes.

I am actually looking forward to the mostly black cast. Love Tamara Tunie ( Law and Order ) she also was one of the first black females on ( As The World Turns). Thank goodness B&B and Y&R are just plain exhausting same old story lines. 🤔

@Blex Media I hope they cast the first black Canadian actress to lead a dramatic show. Vinessa Antoine also played Jordan Ashford on General Hospital.
