To see these vintage films with the old commercials intact make the whole experience so much cooler! Thank you so much! 🎉

Thanks Fuzzy. Ken Berry pitched Kinney Shoes for several years during the 70s- early 80s. Woolworth's bought Kinney in the early 60s and started Foot Locker in 1974. All locations were closed in 1998. RIP John Lennon

This is an amazing film. I absolutely love it and it brings back powerful memories of being in the chorus singing Handel’s Hallelujah from the Messiah!! What month and year was it when it was filmed and released? What church was it filmed at and where was it filmed in San Francisco? I loved Cromwell when he played the young reverend before he got the iconic role in the movie, “ Babe” about a remarkable pig who herded sheep and became a ‘sheep” pig. I don’t really mean as a reference toward a border collie term of sheepdog.😂🤣😂. Again, I truly enjoyed this holiday treat of a film!❤❤

What would we have done without the Shell Answer Man?

All the wine commercials, Cheryl Tiegs, and John Lennon. 12/09/80 must be a Tuesday. Lennon was murdered on 12/08/80 and I remember Howard Cosell announcing it on Monday Night Football.

Oh my gosh, I was only 4 years old back then. Sad that John Lennon was shot and killed for no reason.

In the 1990s a man would often call KGO radio in San Francisco saying President Reagan and Charles Manson was responsible for John Lennons death. 😂

Broadcast on the day after Lennon died.😢

In fairness, as a man in his 40's, a Christmas without snow is ideal once in a while.
