Damn...that is just crazy. As a father of 2, this would be devastating and amazing to me all at once. Devastating knowing I missed so much time and being angry at myself for letting it happen, and amazing and happy being reunited with a child I never knew I had. Imagine adopting a child and then finding out they shouldn’t have even been up for adoption. At least now he has nice adoptive parents and is reunited with his nice biological father. I hope they meet soon or have already met since this video is old.

It seems like she made sure he didn’t get back to the father. She changed the “race of the father”, which made it so they’d never link him to the father. I’m afraid that she probably had severe post partum, or the father had issues. (Which, he could have changed after losing his son for 30 years.)

@@Rhythmicons just bringing up a common issue that’s a possibility. Just a theory. Postpartum depression is much more common than people admit, so I think it’s worth mentioning. Same with domestic abuse. It was/is so common, that we should consider it also a possibility. Or she could have thought that she was being controlled by the government and was going to be abducted by aliens. Or she could’ve been a Russian spy. anything is possible. But an educated guess would be post-partum and/or domestic abuse. 🤷♀️ Something to look out for even today.

Old myself and 2 brothers were abandoned by our mother.our father never looked for us.someone locked our father,one by one he came to pick us up.we all were sent to an orphanage. Shot story..,at 45 yrs old.i met my mother,I had prayed all those years to find her.it was a horrible experience for me.some people just don't want kids.i feel for all that have had a life as this.im73yrs. I think I can understand how his felt as I recently found out that I have a son I didn't know about for 41 years. He was born in another country after the last time I was stationed overseas. Two of the happiest days of my life have been this year. The first was opening an email I normally would have deleted and the other was receiving confirmation from our DNA tests.

This story makes me sad for all the time he lost with his birth father bit im glad he had a good life with his adoptive parents. I would feel cheated out of the possibilities of a life i didn't get to live.

Honestly this kind of thing has happened many times over the years, it was even more common back in the 50s-70s when you could travel quickly, but couldn’t be tracked that well.

G.M. I mean why take three weeks to report him missing? I get it the mom would leave with him all the time but three weeks? Hell two days is enough for me to call the cops and at least ask if they found a body if someone pass away in a car accident. But three weeks?
