However I wonder there were female working on the railroads years ago? If it's true, that would be wonderful!😃

@@thomastsangthomas1616 I imagine that it did happen, especially during World War Two when many women were working in the factories and the like while the men were overseas.

@@thomastsangthomas1616 there were but they were not real common in the shops or road, offices more commonly, but running steam is a bit rough and its often dirty and hard work, but we have all kinds even now at fort wayne railroad historical society, and several young members helping out too not just the old guys and ladies, or those over 35 that take on things of an earlier age, like our grandperants would have, but several of us do, like wearing hats, like the old jazz music, enjoy the occasional cigar or pipe, and in off hours good local food and spirits, but when we are not on duty we take rule g about no drinking or intoxication very serious, we have to keep it professional at all times and you dont know who is going to be on your trip or when you ride yourself, and it takes years to cultivate relationships one slip one bad word can throw it all away, even on here I have to watch what is said as several I help out there with follow my videos and as fans of railroad history will run into videos I comment on or things I say on video on my channel, as they say you are not yours, and your actions may reflect those around you those you associate with, weather its working job, or where you might go to religious services, or your family.

Great to see her running #12! I fired the 12 when the Midwest Central in Mt Pleasant, IA, had it on a lend lease plan. She makes a sweet engineer to run a sweet little Prairie Engine. We called 12 the “Pineapple Princes” from Hawaii.
