Yep I'm moving out by end of Summer. Lifelong resident, in my 40s and no longer worth living in Milwaukee. Safety, attitudes with nearly every in-person service industry 'customer service' worker, rental prices, street conditions - I can always take a road trip to visit lake Michigan but not likely - the lakefront has become a ghetto on hot days filled with violence and lack of courtesy in general. Milwaukee has unfortunately become the worst part of Chicago moving in, while moving the foundation builders of the city right out. And im not telling where I'm moving, people like to follow.

Not clean, safe, loud, houses looks run down. People aren’t friendly. I went to visit a family member and there is nothing but roaches, ants, and mice running around, and the apartment is clean! I was afraid to put my bag down while I was there. People don’t deserve to work hard to pay rent and live like that, so I don’t blame them for leaving. Would you live like that? Trash cans on the sidewalks? Gross!

I think the mayor and staff did a tremendous job stopping the deaths by wreckless driving by installing those cement yellow islands to prevent illegal passing. And fixing streets and overpasses.

Left for college at 18 and it was the best decision ever. Milwaukee will always be home but leaving allowed me to grow and flourish in Dallas. Parents left last year due to the crime and property taxes keep going up.
