Amazing… who made you god?? I have a 53 year old step son in a nursing home with M.S., wow and guess what!!??? You (Eric) will be there one day!! They have lived for the most part longer or as long as you have been alive!! Good luck running for ANY office!! I hope you are proud and you go down in any upcoming primaries

The people I've known who spent their last years in a nursing home, moved there because it was their best move financially. Nothing to do with mental fitness. Oh the irony of Hovde questioning other people's mental fitness. Hovde might have been thinking hospice when he said nursing home, but even hospice residents can hang in there for many years and remain mentally fit.

@@jerjameswoj that's because you go to hospice care doesn't mean you're dying. Sometimes hospitals are too full so they send someone to hospice care. Hell my 80 year old neighbor went to hospice care right now she's back home doing pretty good.

He hit the nail on the head. Out of his mouth nursing homes EXPECT people coming to only live 5 to 6 months which is why they are all bankrupt. He is also right that they help incompetent people vote that don't even know what's going on. My grandmother living in nursing home care for the last 15 years of life and she didn't even know how old she was.
