Well, I think KR is completely innocent. I suppose they could have thought that she accidentally hit him, did not realise and then drove off. However, I mean - well - if she hit him at 24 mph (in reverse - she is skilled!) there would have been a huge bang and the car panels would have been damaged. Ultimately, I suppose in the end, some jurors were tired and not thinking clearly and just ignored basic things. The timeline exonerates KR as well - but again, if you rethink things, confusion may result.

Hearing people outside yelling and screaming while deliberations was reported by just one juror. This juror was not one of the five that came forward reporting that they acquitted on charges 1 and 3. Witnesses in courthouse said that was not true, you could not hear the supporters, that the only time they were heard slightly was when they announced the case was dismissed due to hung jury. From the letter, in her own words, was watching KZbin, that were commentators for convicting Karen Read.

It does not say they were “Free Karen Read protestors”, rather, it did not specify.

@@dallen8997 Judge verbally instructed the jurors not to fill the verdict form until they had come to a unanimous agreement on all the charges. They were split on the alternative lesser charge of involuntary manslaughter of Count 2 -- a thing made specifically known by the last juror who came forward -- so I think that's why the verdict form wasn't filled. (Earlier jurors had said they had actually reached unanimous agreement on Counts 1 & 3.) The judge didn't ask if there were any counts that the jurors had agreed on after she got the foreman's final note. (To be fair, none of his notes stated they had reached unanimous agreement on some counts. Perhaps the jurors weren't sure if they could state that in the notes.) Judge just read the final note out aloud and almost immediately declared a mistrial. I think the jurors had expected that they would be asked, and that didn't happen.

i would have thought the defence lawyers might have waived their costs..that trial has catapulted them into the spotlight and they will have clients now who would be willing to pay more for their services. not sure if they would get revenue for a series/film spinoff.
