I don't know what "9 quid" is, if it's not 9 pounds... but if it is 9 pounds, then, yes, that's way too expensive. In the US, $9 (or about 7 pounds) get you TWO whole CARTONS of very high grade ice cream (for us lower classes & peasants, that is, even though the rich pretend to want to spend $15 or $30 on "specialty" brand names that don't necessarily taste any better than, say, Edy's/Dreyer's, which are made with premium almond, coffee, cashew, etc)... The poor, uneducated Liberal run state like California, for example --- in addition to having the most high tech companies on earth on a per capita basis --- grows a MAJORITY of the fruits & nuts consumed across the US, so ice cream headquartered in California have access to very cheap, premium nuts for their premium ice cream brands...
