Both have pros and cons, but after more than 10 years of passing out from high school and having spent a lot of time in the professional world with people both from CBSE and ICSE, I can say that ICSE offers what the progressive and balanced syllabus should look like. Not to offend people, but CBSE gives you a very crammed-oriented syllabus which is really not what the job market demands, and thus most global companies often complain of candidates who have degrees but are not hire-worthy and lack innovation in India. That’s because CBSE leaves out little but crucial subjects and topics that help in the overall development of a student. English is far superior in ICSE is not a debate but a fact, but it’s a misconception that it’s the only thing that gives students an edge. The biggest advantage for ICSE students is application-based learning. This will help you think outside the box and innovate, rather than just being confined to limited context. CBSE Maths and Science is quite comprehensive for entrance exams, is what most of us consider true, and to some extent it is, as most entrance exams in India for science-based fields is based on NCERT base, which is from where CBSE picks most of its topics. But, isn’t the whole point of changing our education system not to produce just hoards of engineers and doctors for the sake of it, but let people excel in where their talent lies? If you sit for any international exam, most of them will have an application-based approach, including your interview exams at top companies from Google to Apple. In fact, even the Indian government realizes the same and has made groundbreaking changes to exam patterns of UPSC, which for a long time was thought to be an exam only crammers could crack. The future should be a unified board, taking best from both but realizing that at a time where machine-learning and AI is threatening our very existence, you need to develop skills and teach children in a way where they think and not just cram.

CBSE is easier and CBSE students have lesser knowledge than ICSE . I am an ICSE class 10 students and I go for science and maths coaching classes. There are a few CBSE class 10 students there and they are losers. Their class 10 syllabus is less and easier than ICSE class 7 syllabus. CBSE education is nothing compared to ICSE. Most of the pass out students from my school are very successful. Come to ICSE and you will know how tough it is. A CBSE class 10 student will hardly score 15% in ICSE class 8.

ICSE is the best...The standard of english which a ICSE student knows is far much better than a CBSE one. If a CBSE student migrates to an ICSE board then he has to face great many difficulties, but believe me inspite of having vast syllabus students are able to score good marks because it is not all difficult to score marks in ICSE. The name of the board is CISCE and it is divided into further categories i.e. ICSE for Class 10 and ISC for Class 12. East or West ICSE is the best.

ICSE is far away better than CBSE I am studying in ICSE and I have watched Books of NCERT . There are only 15 chapter for class 10 th in Science But we have Seperate Books of PCB and there are 42 chapters in our Science unlike ICSE we don't have 1 book of Science . And my chemistry alone is more thicker than CBSE's Science book . And books are very detailed...

Being a CBSE board student I think CBSE is better because beside NCERT I also studied ICSE board's books,which is tough , and less value in entrance examination,NCERT is useful in every Field... So I will prefer everyone to study in CBSE board school. TBH ICSE Board exam de kar CBSE mein admission easily...mtlb bohut easily le skte ho ....kyunki tumhara ek achcha sa base ya fir concept jo hain woh clear rhega....but CBSE se ISC mein admission lena....seriously like, I won't recommend.... Also , I've seen 100s of friends, seniors, juniors, relatives, neighbours,etc. taking migration certificate and moving to CBSE...they said it was alright as in high school, things become similar apart from languages..but, I don't have any experience of vice versa, yet in my life.

All boards are best.... I respect all board... But jab govt job Ka baat ata jai tab NCERT follow Karna padhta hai.... Q ki may khud WB board se hu....lekin jab service k liye prepare kar rhi thi tab mujhe NCERT follow karna padha..... And luckily I got central govt. job.....😀😀😀
