I arrested a man in late 80’s who was beating his wife and kids, once the bad guy was in the backseat of my patrol car I went back in the house to talk to his wife and there was a little boy who grabbed my leg and wouldn’t let go. I left law enforcement 25 years later, that little boy found me through facebook just to tell me “ 25 years ago you removed that monster out of my house and all my life I wanted to be you I wanted to be a hero so I’m graduating the police academy next month and I want you to be the one who pins my badge” I was reduced to rubble..and tears

This message is for everyone who is reading it: The Lord Jesus came down from heaven, sent by God the Father, to teach us how to live, and to die/pay for our sins on the cross. Then God raised Him from the dead on the third day. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father. Now, God commands everyone who is reading this message to repent (turn away from your sinful ways), and to put their faith in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins. Don’t die in your sins: Repent, and put your faith in Jesus. The Lord Jesus came to save, not to condemn. The Lord is coming soon. (John 3:17)

I hope Steve does these stories for another 20 years. I have not seen a bad one yet. Thank you. I had a similar thing happen to me about 30 years ago. I was a mechanic and I just got back from hospital from getting metal removed from my eye. A guy walked up to me and asked how I was. I said every swear word I knew and I think I even made some up. I asked what the hell he wanted. He said that was a local Chaplain from the church down the street. I said that I was stuck in a job I did not like and he said that I should change my career. I felt bad and I apologized up and down for swearing. I got home that afternoon and saw in the news paper about night school computer classes. I enrolled the next day, started a couple of weeks later and spent the next 30 years still in a very exciting career. Circling back around, there is a lot more money in mechanic work than certain computer jobs. Thanks again Steve.
