Thank you for this program. We have people in our government that would have us believe that the world hates us . However we have great people. Thank you to our veterans my family loves and respect you. During WWII my Father's ship was bombed. He had psdt that was with him his whole life. God bless all our troops.

That entire video was one the touching, heartbreaking and tender video I have ever watched!!! I'm a Navy veteran and I chose to be a military escort for my roommate when he died in a traffic accident, I thought that job was tough but some of these people are far and away going above the call of duty!!!!!!!

DADS AT WAR = 2024 ?? Where would I be without you dad My hero of night and day I'm so glad you love my mother And think of us when you pray The last time we went to church You reached for me with your hand. I looked at you, then made a wish That I might be just half the man. I love my father of this earth And I love my father of heaven. It's a lot for me to love, you know For I'm only eleven. Mom and I sure miss you Since you left to defend our flag. When others ask, where is your dad I can't help but cry and brag. By Tom Zart! Most Published Poet On The Web!

Well technically, America fought because America was attacked. America didn't fight to end fascism until December 1941, after fascism had been rampaging for years. Just saying. Peace and best wishes.

Met a gentleman named Everett McBride, he had served in the Army during WW ll, and had fought in the Battle of the Bulge. The weather was a serious factor in that battle. Coldest weather in decades. Everett told me how he had kept his feet healthy, by washing his extra pair of socks and then sleeping with those socks on his chest. The body heat dried them. He would take of his old dirty socks and put on the clean dry socks. He repeated this process keeping his feet healthy in the bitter cold. RIP Everett.

AMERICAN SOLDIER = PAST & NOW **** Throughout man’s past as a creature of earth War has always plagued his expectance. Greed, hate, fear, envy and rage Have overruled rapture and repentance. David was a soldier who lived by his faith Which gave him the will to become brave. He stood up to terror and toppled the giant Leaving Goliath headless and alone in his grave. David’s call thrives in hearts of soldiers today Shielding liberty from the warmongers of hell. Facing down evil refusing to summit Ensuring freedom and justice are alive and well. Those of us blessed by the safety of home Must remember the sacrifice of the few. Run up your flag and show your support For the heroes of the red, white and blue. It’s not a priest who gives us freedom of religion, It’s not a reporter who give us freedom of voice. It’s not any judge, lawyer, politician, preacher or teacher But the blood of a soldier that has sacrificed by choice. By Tom Zart! Most Published Poet On The Web!

My husband was a Vietnam Veteran. I thank God, he made it home and as saddened for the families whose loved one didn't make it home. Ross' uniform hung in the closet for years. Years after his death my daughter secretly made a Teddy Bear out of Ross' Army uniform. including his insignia, metals, buttons, etc. The Teddy Bear sits next to my bed so I can say God Morning and Good night every day.
