These people in the comments who are talking about “yoga brings in demons” and “meditation is religious” are just mad something other than Christianity is positively impacting these kids. Last time I checked, breathing is not satanism. Meditation and yoga CAN be religious, but they don’t have to be.

Great coverage! I’m glad they covered the story behind the initiative. This is an important story because many school and community issues would be resolved with this approach. This is what we need in our lived right here. Share the good news!

@@kaylamack2790 This kind of "meditation" comes from Hinduism, and invites demonic possession. "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful" (Psalm 1:1, KJV). Even so, come, Lord Jesus! Establish the Kingdom in Jerusalem, and keep the world safe from Democracy!

I do not follow Christ because some old book tells me to do so. I have a testimony why i claim to know God and have a relationship with Him. I lived for most of my life as an agnostic, having no idea whether God is real or not and had no faith in the afterlife. Since childhood i was filled with curiosity about the world around me and spent quite some time in the libraries to get explanations how things works. I spent many nights grasping the distances, quantities and functionality of the observable universe. So i do have a generally comprehensive picture about cosmic and biological evolutions. I had a very rejectful feelings towards religions, because i saw what they are in their core. About 6 years ago something happened to me, after watching a youtube video. It was about the light appearing over temple mount in Jerusalem. After watching it (even though many commented it was a hoax or an ad for a new sci-fi movie), i felt how something filled me with great fear, which made me tremble. I got up, went to the balcony in a terrible fear to take a fresh air, wondering what is going on with me and i begin to receive the message, that this light i saw in the video, is soon about to destroy this whole world, myself included, then it left me. After this, i was filled with interest and curiosity to know about the place where this light appeared and found out that it is one of the holiest sites in abrahamic religions, so i naturally connected the dots and understood that aside of all the manmade mess in them, the origin of those religions is actually extra-terrestrial. So i begin to learn more about religions. I was interested about Islam a long before this incident, just trying to understand why it is so hypocritically "peaceful". Then i got to the Gospels, and i realised that this guy, Jesus, is just something, if everybody would at least try to live like him, this world would be close to a paradise already. After a while, i still could not get any peace because of this incident and was thirsting to get an answer for the origin of that light. I did remember, when that spirit told me that it will destroy this world, i felt that it would not do it because it is evil, but the opposite, because of this world, which is abnormal and wicked enough to be destroyed. While reading the Gospels about Jesus, and thinking about that light and its message, i began to doubt that the origin, the "Ruler" of this light may not just be some millions of years old, galactic civilization but the Creator of an entire universe - God himself. As Jesus taught, that everyone who seeks, shall find, everyone who knocks will be opened, so i did dared to knock the door at some moment, by literally asking God Himself, that if He is real, and if He hears me, let me know it, in such way that i would never have to doubt His existence again. Eventually, in about a year of seeking and searching, i did got what i was asking for. I was in my room, by myself, watching something on the internet, then suddenly, i begin to feel how something takes over me, all my body, all my existence, being surrounded with the Spirit which i could describe with one word - Father. Right after, i sense Jesus too, in such sense as if i always knew Him. Since that day, which happened about 5 years ago, i deal with Jesus on a daily basis. I do not follow some christianity, i follow Christ Himself, i know Him personally, He is here, in a spiritual form

We have taken prayer out of our schools, but they have brought the religious practice of Yoga in
@CampingforCool418 жыл бұрын
It's not religious in the least, it's learning how to introspect and manage your emotions and impulses. Some types of meditation can have a spiritual slant, but there are many that don't at all.

So "no Christianity" dogma is enforced to the point where a kid can't read his bible at lunch, because separation of church and state. But of course it's all fine and dandy to incorporate Hindu traditions into the children's every day curriculum. Gotcha.

Meditation can be religious, but that is not what they are teaching here. Mindfulness and breathing and moving your body are not inherently religious. And it seems to be helping the kids a lot. ☺
