Not your average rock star. Intelligent, respectful, a ferocious fighter of injustice, wise, funny and loves his wife like she is the rockstar. His ego is only in jest for the band, his heart remains humble. If you imagine the amount of temptations he must have had , to remain this grounded is quite astonishing.

Totally agree. That’s exactly how I felt as a musician similar to what you described. Its so different than anything else I’ve experienced that I can’t succinctly process what my eyes are seeing and my ears are hearing(if that makes any sense). People throw around phrases like “groundbreaking“ and “game-changing“ far too often when speaking of technology. But I feel this is perhaps the biggest jump in accessible tech we’ve seen since the introduction of the iPhone.

Wow, I have so much to say about them💖💖💖, I have no idea where to start! I am a 16 year old girl and I loveeeeee U2💜💜, for 7 months now I hear their songs everyday all the time!! Before that I always knew they existed because my mom loves the 80’s music, but I never understood why they are so special! I started with 5 songs in my playlist😂, by that time I only began to actually understand why their music is so extraordinary and important to everyone and myself! Now I have about 50 songs in my playlists and I know each one of them by heart 💖, I love Bono’s voice and I find so much meaning in each song ! 🫶🏻🫶🏻 During those days the situation in my country is not easy, for 8 months people are protesting and trying to defend human rights and the idea of democracy and liberty! I try to protest whenever I can because those ideas and my country are so important to me!🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 I am sure that this is one of the reasons why I feel so connected to their music.💙 during this period U2 has always been one of the places I can escape to, and always makes me feel better🫶🏻🫶🏻. The fact that I haven’t met any other teenagers who love or even know U2 makes me really sad😢, because I really believe that anyone can learn something from their songs and ideas!!!!! Now I can’t wait to see them live for the first time! at the msg sphere in Las Vegas😱😱😱😱🤩🤩🤩🤩, I just arrived to Las Vegas yesterday, and saw the sphere! This venue is huge, I. Was shocked the first time I saw it 💖 Love U2❤️❤️❤️

As much as I like technology, I think we are watching waaaaaaay to much TV today. I end up going to see a show, to connect with an artist but ending up watching a TV show instead. I think it is sad and has disconnected us with the human aspect of things. Yes the screen is amazing, I love watching shows about the universe, stars and planets, but I am missing the persona, the intimate feeling. I was lucky to see U2 years ago at a smaller venue, and it was mindblowing, to feel and see their energy almost ripping the roof off at the place. The way things are going it will be avatar bands performing, because it really does not matter if the artist is there or not, just see the latest ABBA show, and people still pay big bucks to see it and come out feeling entertained. It is the way things are going I know, I just like the other thing better.

I found myself having same reaction to all the phone video... like, WOW..but.. is the performance getting lost amongst all the eye candy? I can recall thinking the same thing during the heyday of the original Achtung Zoo TV tours... like, c'mon, guys what about the U2 of old from Red Rocks or Joshua Tree era with zero video support and just four guys with an amazing sound and a clamouring enigma for a front man? Turns out I needn't have feared. The Zoo Tour changed history for them and for live music. This Sphere residency is likely to do the same. Looks amazeballs. Watch more TV.
