The youth feel entitled but are lazy which in some cases is learned behavior from their parents or gaurdians. Some parents cant afford cost of living and most of this youth have anger issues. They gentrified the neighborhoods. The youth somewhat knows that crime decreases property value. Most of the affordable housing are gone and most DC public schools are closed. The teachers barely wanna teach these violent kids because it all starts at home.

If they’re smart enough they’d take advantage of the affluence around them, the halo effect of the wealthy nearby. No amount of violence will give you the real change you want in your life.
