We have a similar Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) visa programme here in Canada as well-where [mostly] Filipinos are brought to Canada to work minimum wage jobs for long hours without overtime pay or vacation allowances that Canadians are entitled to. We've even had cases reported, where small business owners utilising TFWs, rent in-law suites in their own homes, to their half-dozen or so TFW employees, charging each employee almost the entity of their monthly income, just to keep them destitute and easily manipulated at work. Recently, the _Liberal_ GoC (Government of Canada) made changes to the TFW programme, requiring employers employing high-skilled TFWs to pay them a minimum 20% above the median income rate for their position, in hopes of curbing income disparity abuse.

The visa schemes meant to be used sparingly for individuals with VERY unique skills the employer needs, after exhausting all efforts to find someone in the US to do that unique job. If a company needs more, get universities and colleges to train students to do the job rather than bringing in indentured servants from outside the US.

Yes its true.... and most AFD voters are low class and living on welfare.... AFD is a party which is pro rich people in disguise... they want to cut large chunks of the welfare benefits and lower taxes, our health care/ retirement and education system relys on the taxes. I belong to a tax brackets where I just pay high income tax. But even I understand that certain infrastructures and instituitions should not be defunded or cut away.
