How did fellow Republicans react to Cruz's 21-hour talkathon?

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, declared victory after his 21-plus hour speech on the Senate floor Tuesday, but he did not appear to convince many Republicans to pursue a strategy they consider risky. Nancy Cordes reports.

A senator has to stay on the floor if he/she leaves the floor they will lose there talking privilege's. This is called a filibuster it delays time. However in order for him to get kicked off the floor he ether needs to stop talking or get 60 out of the 100 senators to vote him off. He is only allowed to drink water or milk during all his time talking. I believe he can use the restroom he would have to do it on the "floor" into I'm guessing a cup. However someone could ask a really "long question" which can give him a break to stop talking. If that make sense.

Bigtime props for Sen. Cruz! All these Senators and the Representatives from the House have already heard in their Town Hall mtgs. from their constituents: we don't want this law, and we've already figured out how it will harm America, RAISE the cost of medical coverage to everyone who already had good coverage, and reduce the quality of care, to appease people who don't want to be covered at all. Many of whom have the ability to buy it, but prefer not to!
