Tonight was by far the best ironbowl I've ever been to. I grew up going to all alabama games, went to Alabama, etc (I'm 27), but tonight was so insane. Roll Tide. To any Auburn fans out there, yall played a hell of a game and yall should be proud. The ironbowl can always go either way. Our defense finally answered the call when needed this year. Even if we couldnt do anything on offense, they kept us in the game. Felt like an early Saban era Bama game today. Hell of a fight by Auburn as well. Now to find out what were truly made of in Atlanta next week.

Not second guessing because I said it at the time. At the end of first OT when Auburn scored TD after Alabama had I said the right decision was to go for 2 there. When you’re clearly not the best team you take your shot to win it all with one play. Coaches are too scared of being questioned afterwards to make that call. Predictable that they ended up losing after that.

I watch this game every year because it's the game that best represents the sec. It was a bucket list trip to go to bed lam, iron, osu mich. When I finally attended an iron bowl I was disappointed that the fans were the most negative I've ever been around. Every play was a missed call, every ref was out to screw the Tigers, every opposing player was cheating. To make it worse the video board team constantly fed the fans videos of supposed missed calls every single play. I was disappointed by the whole loser mentality and victimhood. The campus was as beautiful as I had imagined it was and that's what I will remember about this dream trip. I will choose to forget the fan base for which I thought I would be a fit. Go broncs

Yea ole Bo Nix stuck his foot in his mouth this week saying Alabama always gets the calls and less penalty’s. Auburn got away with Pass interference calls all game and they almost mugged Jameson Williams before he got tossed for targeting and Metchie was being held all night. If this game would’ve been on a neutral field or Tuscaloosa we would’ve beat auburn by 3TDs. I do know in other CBS games, Gary Danielson goes very quiet when Alabama scores... and by his comments too, quiet obvious he pulls against them. So why does CBS continue to let him do games if he is biased against some teams? In addition I think during the week he actually was giving Mason tips on how to beat Alabama or Gary made it sound that way.

Auburn should be able to show recruits how great their homefield advantage is and even though they lost Harsin got them to play and almost win with tj Finley playing like a liability they just need a qb with enough mobility to keep that kind of defense honest and less pressure on tank bigsby to carry the ground game behind the average hopefully better soon offensive line who is a couple recruits away from beating the best teams in the SEC imo

Sure it can happen, Clemson held them to zero TDs on offense in the first game, so anytime you have a coach like Kirby that plays to his defense it's going to be a close game if the other team has a good defense also, basically besides Clemson he hasn't played a good team, in reality, this year. Now if UGA can run the ball on Bama like they did everyone else besides Clemson, that would be different, I don't see that happening, I see a 24-21 or 27-23 type game, you guys that are so young just don't understand football and matchups. Bama probably practiced all last week on UGA plays, and Auburn probably spent two weeks getting ready for Bama and they have Derek Mason a great Defensive Cord. who understood Bamas RBs are banged up and another O-Lineman was banged up, thus they had to switch a guy with a hurt ankle to the bench in the 2nd half, switch the center to his position, and put in a freshman to center. I have stated all year I think UGA will win it all, but saying they can't when they did last year pretty easily is not very good thinking. Bamas not favored, the last time that happened was vs. UGA in 2015 and Bama beat them 38-10. This Bama team may be playing flat all year after a title but may bring it this one night.

We could have scored 10-20 points more in each game, but shut it down in the 4th quarter. Bammer barely beat Arkansas 42-35 and you should have lost to Auburn. Your top running back is hurt and probably out. We have the best defense in history with linebackers who run like the wind. Best of luck staying within 20 on Saturday.

With your thesis, if you beat a #1 team on the first week and they go 0-12 you beat a #1 team and this is, of course, silly thinking, they beat Clemson, Kentucky, and Arkansas who are 22, 23, and 25 in the rankings. So, your whole assumption goes down the drain, I think Clemson should be higher, but UGA didn't even score an offensive TD vs Clemson, and Bamas defensive is better. Not understanding that puts you behind the 8 ball. Meanwhile, Bama blew out Ole Miss the number 8 team, so they can bring it on any given day. Anytime you have two great defensive teams, it's an execution and turnover game. It also seems Kirby chokes vs Bama, we have to add that in. Auburn are the real dummies, they could have had Kirby in 2013 (2012 Season) but they refused to allow him to coach Bama in the National Title game vs Notre Dame LOLOLOL, and they got Gis Mazhan who was a flash in the pan, whereas Kirby is the real deal.

That TD pass to tie the game late in the 4th was a push-off. He extended the arm and literally pushed him to give him space, but they didn’t call it. Hell of a throw and catch though.

They should have never even have had the chance, Alabama had a huge hold on the right in their own end zone to start the drive. It should have been a safety for Auburn and then their possession to end the game on kneel downs. It was an obvious hold that directly affected the play and the refs just ignored it. I can't stand either team involved, but I did see a huge hold.

Stop bitching! Auburn had questionable calls go their way all game and one of them even managed to get one of Alabama's star wide receiver ejected.

bro did you watch the game? They were letting the dbs play all game and there was a play when the AU db full on tackles him before the ball was close no flag. I'm just saying don't go giving excuses for auburn to lose that game there were questionable calls all game... don't try to shift it to one team.
