Shedeur passed for 4000 yards with no line. He faced Nickel,Dime,shell and prevent defenses. No running game at all and no protection. What makes him elite is his knowing where the ball goes and his accuracy at over 70%. If you pass on him be prepared to start working as a high school AD.

@@user-xj9po6ep9i I can agree with that no one knows and that goes for myself. I just never watched a Qb in college as much as Shedeur. I believe he has the mechanics and work ethic to succeed. His best years was at Jackson state because he actually had a 1,000 yard rusher in syveon Wilkerson. For some reason they abandoned the run at Colorado and his O-line was not very good. So he got sacked a lot. Even with the pressure and hits and still put up great numbers. If you put some other Qb’s in his situation at Colorado they would have turned into a turnover machine 💯

I think this roster is further than most people think (coming from a bears fan), so if those 4 are gone, I’m getting back to 12/15. I’m really excited about the 2nd round picks right now to get IOL and edge rush/dl as well, seem to be some great available players in that range from what I’ve seen in mocks

⁠Shedeur is a first round pick now you can argue where in the first. He has great accuracy, poise and, he is deadly when he is on time which is evident in two minute situation. Watch him in go ahead situations, he is great. The issue is when he tries to play outside of himself. Shedeur for two seasons has had to be Superman. He has had no running game and, a shaky line at best and, still produced. I think he would actually be great if he had some resemblance of a running game. Also the scheme does him no favors. It’s not a lot of in breaking routes, not a lot of rub routes, angle routes so, it makes some of his weaknesses even more glaring. Which is why I think he will be a better pro than college player. If he was in a timing offense I believe he would be deadly. At Colorado Shedeur hasn’t been able to play his natural game because so much is on his shoulders so, he forces the issue a lot. I don’t think he will play like that at the next level nor will he have to. To me his comp right now is Teddy Bridgewater but, with a better arm and, a more sturdy frame, his mid is Tua Tagovailoa if he gets better pocket presence and, his ceiling is Matt Ryan. I actually like his fit with the Browns more than the Giants. They have Kevin Stefanski who coached with Pat Shurmur who is Shedeur’s OC right now, Shedeur fits that offense really well.

No way Mike, Bengals & Colston Loveland, he likely wouldn't even be TE1 for them if you look & see how they liked rookies Eric All & Cam Grandy who both played due to their blocking. I suspect at 17 it will either be Starks, A Dlineman (edge rusher or interior rusher) or IOL. TE & WR are possibilities but I doubt it unless TEE gets away. Then maybe a WR like Tet or they could move Iosivas outside & play more 3 WR with Burden or Egbuka as a slot.
