Sun's owner Matt ishba Is completely impatient. He will never win a title. He doesn't give anything time to gel. You can't force immediate results in a team sport. It can only happen through continuity. The biggest mistake he made was blowing his team up a few years ago after that team had just went to the finals. That team just needed a few adjustments, and they would have been successful again. Minnesota is a good example of this. They had a few horrible seasons. Made a few adjustments and got right back at it. They've been able to grow together And they've become a winning team because of it.

They had a dominant well constructed team with Devin Booker, Mikael Bridges, Cam Thomas, Jae Crowder, Chris Paul as the organizer on the floor etc. Then the new ownership destroys that for Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal (who barely played most of the season as he did on the Wizards). Despite all of that and having virtually no real chance against well constructed rosters with size and depth, they made the playoffs. That is a successful first season for Frank Vogel considering the roster constraints. They just signed him to a 5 year $31 million dollar deal. The management of the Suns are totally lost and will regret gutting their team of great role players for 3 stars and no depth.

My guess is Vogel is a better coach than Bud...so now you pay another coach to not coach and arguably bring in a coach thats not as good but a coach that is probably better than the currect coach of the Bucks. Samr with Raptors, you fire a NN to give the job to Darko...a nice guy but sireyly not as good as Nurse. I would love to see one team stand by their coach and hold the players OR managemnt responsible. But at the end of the day, coaching is one of the most lucrative jobs in the NBA when you get fired with multiple years on your contract and still get paid. Many teams are paying multiple coaches at the same time, it's actually insane

Whomever thought it was a good idea to trade the Suns young, talented, and depth- plus future draft picks for Kevin Durant should be fired as well. Frank Vogel lost in these 2023/2024 playoffs to a MUCH better team that understood the value in having depth in their bench and young and thirsty players. If I were a respectable coach, I would stay far and away from the Suns.
