​@@Shzzaam I hope so. Clingan seems awesome -- his rim protection tools and instincts are special. The question is will he ever be a star player you build around? Foot injury history. Never averaged over 23 min. Shoots 58% from the line. Shooting in general is a huge question. Will handle perimeter defense intelligently but not swiftly. Drafting for incremental improvement is not Portland's game right now, it's finding star talent.

At about the 4:35 mark of this video, the analyst makes a comment that Blazers fans should pay attention to. Let me share a little draft history with you. In the 1984 NBA draft everyone points out that Portland took oft injured center Sam Bowie, and everyone points out that Portland passed on Michael Jordan, but they also passed on John Stockton and Charles Barkley. We did manage to win a title with Bill Walton, but that run could have been epic if Walton did not get hurt. Then there was the whole Greg Oden saga where we passed on a guy named Durant. Now, back to what this guy said. Clingan may drop because of foot injury problems. With the Blazers history of high draft picks getting injured, I would not touch Clingan at all. Can't believe you suggested Portland should take yet another chance on a talented but possibly injured player. All the skill in the world means nothing if you can't play.

Hornets selected Morrison in the past... I think they know all too well to NOT select an upper classman without much upside in the lottery. Plus he doesnt play D like that... Lee is a defensive minded coach. I think you got their mock all wrong. Melo is the 1... Miller is the 2. Cody, Salaun, Matas, Risacher, Holland, Tyler Smith, Sarr, all make more sense as far as prospects go.

Miller is a small forward. Morrison was also a small forward who tore his ACL after his rookie season. Knecht is a shooting guard swingman who is way more athletic than Morrison. His defense was limited because he did everything on offense for Tennessee…he won’t have that problem in the pros. But he may not be there for Charlotte to draft anyway.

This is, by a wide margin, the worst draft I have ever seen in every possible way. You don't even have guys that could legit starters in the league in the 1st round. Guys that weren't stars in college and don't have legit skills. Stephon castle? Are you kidding me? He's not a top level college player, he was an upper class colleg player but not top level. Daulton knecht, Ron holland? These are players that may not even get drafted in other years.
