They showed this TMZ a few years ago to with a before and after picture of her at 16 and the present. And on other celebrity plastic surgery sites. And on another blog in 2007 when she was on Life Magazines cover someone asked why does her nose look Michael Jacksony? She had a small pretty shaped nose before she didn't need a nose job at all and now as some other people point out her nose is too small for her face. She also admitted in a 2010 interview that she had Botox about year before then too and that was when she was only 44, so I'm sure she's had some more since she got into her 50's.

Imo, Brooke has always had an inner beauty. Her intelligence, kindness, sense of humor, charisma and ability to rise above a tumultuous childhood is admirable. You can unlearn those stereotypes and think for yourself without using expressions you probably heard other people say. Beauty does not fade as generations before us decided. It just does not look the same on a 60 year old as it did on the 20 year old she used to be. She got older, she did not have a disfiguring accident, for goodness sake.

It must be very painful for a woman like Brook Shields, that was very beautiful in her prime with a face that was almost mathematically harmonious, to age. The same can be said for a man that was very tall, strong and rugged in his prime, to waste away into nothing in old age. I was thinking the other day about Clint Eastwood, who in his prime was a hulking 6'4 man with a chiseled jawline and now at 93 he is like 5'10 tall standing straight and so weak that he struggles to walk. Ageing is really awful, sapping away the beauty of women and the height and strength of men. I was thinking about how to every little kid our dads are our heroes, so tto watch them sjrinking and becoming weaker as they age is a devastating expeeince. Yes, the loss of beauty for a woman and the loss of height and strength for a man that happens with ageing are humiliating experiences, because we base so much of our identities as sexual beings on it.

I grew up with this beautiful woman. Happy she is still thriving with her family & career despite the challenges of aging. But I wished she would have side stepped the pitfall that comes with getting older about needing to give us every personal detail. Keeping your decorum is part of aging gracefully. The surgery she did not agree to was horrible without question, but to speak up now and hide behind "I am doing it for my daughters" is sad & embarrassing. She could have had the discussion with them in private & kept some dignity. We have all had moments where we were disrespected. She is not special in that regard, just choosing now to exploit it for attention just like she chose NOT to get attention for it when it happened.

Wow.. those gorgeous eyebrows. She was born to play the mature Joan Crawford: the cheekbones, the eyebrows, the lips, the nose.. her face is sheer perfection. All she would need is period hair and wardrobe and minimal makeup. And Brooke is just about the right age to play the 1960s-era Joan. Please Hollywood, make it happen!

Natural beauty, no fake face lift botox and fake features like most. She looks better than any of that.

WRONG....

Brooke admitted in 2010 that she had botox a year before that and she was only age 44 in 2009 and I'm sure that she's had more when she got into her 50's.

@gcrichman53 Well her face is full of graceful aging lines, so go figure

I'd sue that dang doctor! That is assault if she didn't consent to that procedure. That is a malpractice suit.

I adore you, you're beautiful, and courageous woman, smart, and interesting. The audacious critics, and individuals who claim your day is over, don't have a modern clue.

Shes wrong. Many women over 50 and 60 are still beautiful and relevant.

Why must we be beautiful or relevant?

I'm a 35-year-old guy and I would add the word "more" before "beautfiul and relevant".

Brooke's makeup in the indoor interview is too heavy and that ages. She looks much younger with mo makeup snd in the hair cap.
