There was Leroy Neiman, Peter Maxx, ( I had a Maxx dress in the 70’s) now there’s Britto. It is enough right now that his art makes you smile. The fact that he’s a super successful businessman and artist is the American story. Congratulations sir.

He was working with a special school program sometime ago ,my son met him and he said he was so down to earth, treating all the kids and staff very well; Britto answered questions and took time with each kid .My son is an adult now and still remembered how special Britto was . God bless him .

His art is bold, colorful and uplifting.I remember Miami as a 10-year-old wondering why all the houses are colored like mints that have the frosting flowers on top of them.

Miami certainly is known for some of these artistic styles. It’s one of my next places to visit, once again. Thanks, Britto.

I LOVE this guy's art and love his backstory. I admire his mother for raising so many children on her own. Not many mothers could do so, successfully. I hope his siblings and his mother are living in better conditions nowadays. 😊

Its funky and colorful, just like the Miami I remember from the 80s and 90's. Very cool. I agree why wasn't there a sun in the Britto art style?????

Lol that’s the artist who treated restaurant staff poorly. Then the restaurant owner smashed a piece she purchased in front of him.

Yes I've been watching for about that long too but now it's a program that promotes homosexuals and transgender as often as possible. I'm surprised he didn't bring out his husband or if he's married to a woman how he actually made it onto the show? If aquaphobic means fear of water what does homophobic mean? Do you respond aqua public is the irrational fear of water? Do people fear homosexuals? What's really going on in America? You might answer, America is like an artist with clay in his hand and he can shape it in any contorted way he wants. When do we get a drag queen for president? When do we feature drag queens on our cereal boxes?

It's funny how an artist can be so popular yet I have never heard of him. I like his work, it's cheery and colorful and spirit lifting. The fact that he comes from such a poor background and is now so mega-successful is something you have to tip your hat to. 🎨🇺🇸

Did I hear correctly that he has sales of $250 million a year? After paying 90 employees how much is left over? 🎯🎯 $250 million per year that's 1 billion dollars and only 4 years, does this make him the most successful artist of all time ❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓❓

This reporter is not one of my favorites. She could’ve held it together when Britto said he ate ants to survive. That look she gave him was rude, he obviously felt uncomfortable because of the look of horror on her face. Looking at Faith Salie‘s Wikipedia page, maybe she’s too posh to interview real people.
