Yes, he is. Now that his Back is where it needs to be, Samson has NO weak or lagging body parts. In comparison to Derek (whose Back is from a different planet), Samson's Back is still solid. And it's the rest of Samson that allows him to remain comparable to Derek in those two poses. But Ssmson wins every other pose: FDB: Samson > Derek FLS: Samson > Derek SC: Samson > Derek BDB: Derek > Samson BLS: Derek > Samson ST: Samson > Derek OA&T: Samson > Derek MM: Samson > Derek The ONLY way Derek can take out Samson is for Derek to bring the conditioning he brought to his 2023 Olympia win or better AND for Samson to show up with any less conditioning than he brought at his Olympia win. The judges don't like to see anything less than what one has brought at their previously best. It's for that reason that Samson needs to show up better (tighter) than he did at his O win. Otherwise, the only other way Samson can win is if Derek and Samson both bring less than what they had previously and Samson still looks better. Sorry for the novel, but I get excited when someone else shares my sentiment

Glad to see you highlighting the calves on Samson. I've commented on it before how so many top guys on stage lack this part, thus not really having the symmetry bodybuilders strive for. Should be factored in as much as the rest. Giant quads little calves? Should be a negative, point deduction. Arnold took pictures posing early on knee deep in water due to him being so conscience of this, focused on them and built them up to balance everything out. They should all have the same mentality.
