Hi friends, This time I received a power amplifier from one of my subscriber. He had a problem during the assembly process so he sent it to me to fix.
In this video I added several parts to the amplifier kit and replaced several parts according to the owner's request.

All the PSU board should have a discharge resistor in parallel to the capacitors on each rail to avoid such flash. 10k-15k 2w resistor will do.

I can build at any time a class B or AB which will bury your class H As a hobby, about a lot of years, I designed and still have time to do it. The difference just the weight. I prefer toroidal transformers instead of switch supply Crazy is in all these videos.... He made just assembly, put a thousands of final transistors... Boss this is just for working in 4 ohms less and to not have sich heat. 4 ohms for best performance is minimum. Better over. I prefer now Mosfets. As an example , there are mosfets as 1.5KW each ( search the IXTX series from IXYS company). Also. MJ 15003 + 15004... ARE extremely good. And depends what yoou want to do. What I like it... Almost everybody built amplifiers with trilions of watts but when I see the speakers... I laugh 2 days. Just a hint : amplifiers are easily made. A good speaker : not so ( 2 years I have just simulate software and practical until I was happy) Subwoofer with 2 x 18 inch speakers. Built 2 pcs. Is quite big and hard.
