CCs alright. Mass=Gas. He put on that weight in his pitching days to increase and sustain his velocity. That's part of the reason why small guys like T. Lincecum and S. Strider are considered freaks for the velo they put up despite being so small and slight. They max out that leverage with funky deliveries and building mass in specific body parts (spencer strider legs). CC dropped the weight as soon as he quit playing.

Yankees should be signing Correa, they are bugging, it’s a perfect fit . That’s literally what the Giants were going to do take them both . If they get Correa and Rondon it’s over . Cashman really looked at Stanton’s disaster of a contract and said “another one” Before you reply, I think Judge will live up to his salary for the first 4 or 5 years and if the Yankees win in that time the contract will be a success, if they don’t win the last couple years will be VERY ugly

Stanton’s salary is cheap for the Yankees right now we only pay like 20 something mil a year with Miami paying the rest having a guy like Stanton for sub 30 mil is a great deal in current baseball. And by the time Judge is near the end 40 mil might be lower than expected for a guy of his value.

As a Yankee fan, to be completely honest, the Yankees are one of the few organizations in baseball that have the financial clout to be able to take a bad deal on the chin and pivot, or still field a competitive team regardless. Compare this to other ballclubs that can end up potentially crippled by an albatross deal for years. See Ellsbury, Jacoby or Pavano, Carl, or Igawa, Kei for examples.
