CCC’s Baby Dreams Boy Baby Dreams Girl Mini Album Tutorial | DT project for Country Craft Creations

Hello everyone,
I’m back with a tutorial as one of my DT projects for the mini albums I made using CCC’s exclusive Baby Dreams Boy & Girl collections. Brace yourself 😂.
This is a 7 1/2x9 mini Album. I show you how I make the signature pages but you can follow the below tutorials on to make the cover. I’m also adding how Michelle Allen came up with the stacked waterfall method-you have to check it out, way easier. 😉
Now I was out of frame a couple times and kept saying camera when I meant light 🤷🏻‍♀️😂.
I hope that you get a chance to make this because it’s a lot of fun.
* on the baby girl version I added a flap on the inside cover (7 7/8 x 9 score at 1/2 on the 7 7/8 side). I also added an accordion pullout on the front of back inside cover (does that even make sense lol)
6 3/8x9 1/4 score @ 4 3/8, 8 3/4 adhere the 1/2” part to the next Piece:
6 3/8x8 3/4 then adhere one side to the cover.
Cover-
2 pieces of 7 1/2x9 chipboard ( to cover you need 9 1/2x 11 cardstock to cover cb)
1 piece of 2 x 9 chipboard ( to cover you need 5 x 11 piece of card stock)
For the Hinge:
If doing regular hinge: 7 x 9 with the 7 across the top of your scoreboard, score @ 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2, 4, 4 1/2, 5, 5 1/2
If you do lay flat method: 4 x 9 with the 4 across the top of scoreboard- score @ 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, 3, 3 1/2

Hello, i saw this album at country craft creations store and it is absolutely beautiful. I am new at this and i am wondering what width score tape you are using?.

Thank you. So sorry I’m behind on responding to comments. But I use all different sizes in my projects. But I use mostly 3/8 in score tape for the flaps etc. but you can also use 1/4 in or just glue 😉

Love this tutorial its so amazing I just love your albums. Quick question your album size and your page size in length are 9" don't you find when you add pages to the covers that one might be sticking out?? Does that make sense? Or does it just work? Xxxx

Thanks. Yes for this one I did same size pages as cover but I don’t do that most of the time. I always check first to make sure the pages are cut correctly before I sticked them in when they are the same size. But it’s easier to just do the pages smaller like a 1/4 in smaller than cover 😉

Thank you i just know that i would get my pages wonky and they would stick out 😁 so could i just add 1/4 inch to the height of cover so instead of it being 9 it would be 9 1/4 ?? Sorry to ask you a billion questions but if your pages are 9" does that mean your binding hinges would be 8 and 3/4s? Xx

@@Aimee.Crafts ooh yes that would be easier to just change height of the cover. 😉 yes I do my hinge 1/4 smaller than my page but I know many friends that do the same height and just miter the corners and it works fine. I don’t chance it not fitting so I do 1/4 less

Getting ready to make album. Found an angle chomper! What brand of 18 x 24 cardstock do you purchase from Amazon?. Having trouble finding the cream color. Only found 11x 17. Hope all is well.
