@@shirleytarrant4041, in the old testament God ordained the Levi tribe of Israel, to take tithes and offerings from the children of Israel, according to the law [ Hebrews 7:5 ]. If you were not a Levi from the tribe of Israel, you could not take tithes and offerings from the children of Israel. If you are not a Levi from the tribe of Israel, and you are using the levitical priesthood law of God, to take tithes and offerings from jews or gentiles, you are robbing the churches of their money. Jesus said, you shall receive the greater damnation [ Matthew 23:14 ]. The tithers need to take their tithes and offerings to Jerusalem, and give them to the Levi tribe of Israel, according to the levitical priesthood law of God. The tithers can tithe all they want to, but that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, the just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, the man that do them shall live in them. For as many as are of the works of the law is under the curse. For it is written, cursed is everyone that continues not in all the things which are written in the book of the law to do them [ Galatians 3:10-12 ]. The church of God is supposed to confront the pastor to the face, and say to him, you cannot take tithes and offerings from the jews or gentiles, because you are not from the levitical priesthood tribe of Israel, and if the pastor neglects to hear the church, Jesus said, let him be unto you as a heathen man and a publican [ Matthew 18:17 ]. When Paul saw that Peter was not walking in the truth of the gospel, Paul withstood Peter to the face in Antioch, because Peter was to be blamed for the brethren going astray [ Galatians 2:11-21 ]. The pastors taking tithes, and the tithers tithing, none of them are walking in the truth of the gospel.

Why doesn't this brother bring up 2 Corinthians 9 6 Remember this-a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”[c] 8 And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. 9 As the Scriptures say, “They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”[d]

Also, Is There A Difference Between The Tithe That Abraham And Jacob Gave And The One Hebrew Farmers And Shepherds Gave To The Levites And Priest. If So, Which One Did The Disciples, Apostles, And 1st Generation Christians Give?
@markb7067
@markb7067 2 жыл бұрын
What Abram submitted was a one-time gift from items he declared he wouldn't accept and he gave away all of those items. There's no biblical evidence he ever "tithed" again. Jacob made a contingent offer to tithe IF God provided as he requested. There's no biblical evidence he ever tithed or how he would do so but it's notable that his lineage did so under Mosaic. All biblical, systematic tithes occurred under Mosaic Law and were only received as consumable items, not money. There ceremonial and civil ordinances that facilitated systematic tithing are now obsolete (Hebrews 8:13). Biblical, systematic tithes weren't gifts, they were payments, only not received as money. Giving offerings is a different matter, but we are free to do so without any biblically set minimum or limit. We're free to give, not bound to pay.

Speaking of Abraham he only tithed once. As for The Lord he was talking to Jewish people & people who were apart of that culture who understood his perceptive of that time. What about what the original apostles said in Acts 15;20 concerning us gentiles & how who are supposed to conduct ourselves? I am open to understanding your perceptive on this. Respectfully Teon

To be honest with you tithing is not even Abraham thing it is Adam's thing that is not penned down in the bible, God will never said man robbed Him for not giving him tithe in the days of Malachi, if that is not what it meant to Him all the times past relating with man. This reality had being on ground even before Abraham...if we read the account of Abraham tithing to God, you will never see where bible commended Abraham textually but the truth is this Abraham won't do anything except God commanded. Let us stop behaving as if God doesn't speak again trough His Spirit in us. Let me sight another example Abel and Cain woke one day and sacrificed to God but there was no place textually where God commanded them, but in reality God reacted to the sacrifice of the both, that tells you God was involved from the beginning being His commandment to them, and moreso Adam and Eve most have been part of such exercise, else God wouldn't have respected what he has not commanded.

The Gospel: Plain and Simple “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” - 2 Corithians 11:3 Ask someone today if they are saved and you will most likely hear responses like these: “I have accepted Jesus into my heart.” Or “I have made him Lord of my life.” “I’ve been baptized.” “I said a prayer.” Sounds all good and churchy don’t it; but it is difficult to de-termine whether or not a person actually knows the gospel that saves them. These use￾less phrases don’t describe a thing about what the gospel is and has left a devastating effect of people not knowing what it is that they are saved from nor how they are saved; which leaves a more serious effect of people ques￾tioning their salvation. Let’s not muddy the simplicity of salva￾tion that is in Christ with vague church sounding phrases that do not communicate anything. But rather present God’s word with clarity and assuredness. So here is the gospel: plain and simple. Sin was passed upon all men by one man Adam, and death is a consequence of this sin (Rom 5:12). Mankind has an eternal destiny of condemnation and wrath - Hell - because of this sin (Rom 6:23). No matter what good works one might do we are still found sinners in the sight of our Creator God. And all un￾righteousness and those who follow get in￾dignation and wrath. We cannot be found righteous for by God’s law we are found sin￾ners (Rom 3:19-20). If we have broken even one law we are found guilty. It is for this reason of not being able to create our own righteousness and being born in a sinful flesh that we need a savior (Titus 3:5). Christ is that Savior, God manifested in the flesh, sinless, died in our place on a cross 2000 years ago. Taking upon him the wrath and judgement that was intended for us sin￾ners. And it is through his bloodshed, burial, and resurrection on our behalf that we are able to have peace with God and forgiveness of our sins (1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 3:14). This good news is unto all but only those that believe in it are made righteous in Christ (Romans 3:22). It is then after we have heard this good news of Christ’s righteousness available to us freely, that we are sealed with the Holy Spirit and we are now part of Christ’s body the church (Eph 1:13) There is nothing that we need to do, no good works that are required, and no bad works that can separate us from our new po￾sition in Christ (Romans 8:35-39). Faith and belief in this information from God’s word is the gospel. The gospel is not accepting Jesus into your heart. The gospel is not making him lord of your life, it is not saying a prayer and it is not being baptized with water. So next time someone asks you if you are saved. Give them the clear assured answer “Yes! And let me tell you why!” Find more free resources at: www.graceambassadors.com
