Ending sentences with prepositions is a common thing in the English language. Just like ending sentences with prefixes in German. You may think that it's illogical based on their names (pre- meaning "before") but that's how the language works.

He didn't ruin his life. Being interested in girls doesn't really interfere with being a genius. The idea that you have to choose one or the other is a faulty one. Sheldon is smart not because he's asexual (or demisexual, considering Amy?). He's just smart. And asexual. Those are unrelated qualities.

This was one of the first instances where the excuse for the way Sheldon was is contradicted. He was able to recognise that Dennis was a condescending and egotistical know it all. He really was full of it. Was actually happy when I saw this episode and for Sheldon to get a taste of what he puts everyone else through on a daily basis.
