Sheldon has no right to have any type of legal agreement for he apartment, considering he is not an attorney or have any legal training/authority. Sheldon needs to realize that the not person who caters to his needs was his mother. Sheldon is a grown man and can take care of himself let everyone else.

@@m.rakelinggara.2174 Wrong Her entire visits to Pasadena. she doesn’t cater to Sheldon needs. She forces him to consider his freinds feelings. Calm down. she mother him. Yes. She is his mother. It also stems from the fact Sheldon enables the cuddling. Mary likes to cuddle. She spoils all her children both Goergie and Missy. They did not let mary baby them . When ever Goergie is hurt or in trouble mamma bear Mary comes knocking. When gorge sr. wanted to kick him out . Mary put a stop to it . Missy is basically a younger Mary so Mary is harder in her to prevent her to make her mistakes. They eventually overcome their grief and have a good relationship as adults. All the children moved out and live their lives. As arrogant as Shelton is. He doesn’t misbehaves abd follows the rules. So it is harder to punish him when he does misbehave because the usual tactics don’t work. Mary like any mother did what she does with the hands she was dealt with. Could she have been better yes. It’s not just Mary it’s also the environment. Take a look at the geniuses of cal tech all are horrible people in their own right from krepkie to Leslie , to Howard’s and Leonard. Even raj. It’s a cesspool of ego with Sheldon being the biggest ego. Even his college professors growing up weren’t any better socially.

Remember that Sheldon hates germs and in a Uber sits a lot of passengers by day. It can be one of the causes. And the personal driver may have tried once but he made the driver crazy lol

Y'know what the worst part and a sign of _bad writing_ this show is? A _well written show_ would've used this episode as an opportunity for Sheldon to realize that his friends really don't care for him _at all._ And that with the slightest bit of self-reflection, he would come to realize that it's because of the way he treats everyone to no benefit but his own. It's like that episode where Leonard is dating Mia and Sheldon realizes that the friend-group is _Leonard-Central._ And that he needs to change his ways in order to keep the support-group he has.

Actually, it is called "character development", and it wouldn't happen in one episode. Or else you wouldn't have a "series".

That level of lesson learning could work with just about any other character except Sheldon. It took him 12 season to start becoming even marginaly more ... normative. We're talking about a person's fondamental psychological structure here so I'm not sure what you are proposing is even realistic.

It is because "status quo is godThe writers don't want viewers to remember continuity because they don't want to remember continuity. They don't want to to push themselves so they write stories with no consequences with the same static characters over and over.

Its a TV show, we are supposed to suspend our disbelief to make it work, Sheldon as a real person would either change his behaviour or get punched in the face and then change his behaviour. He could still be too stubborn which would just mean he would never have any real friends.
