A lot of people ask why Leonard put up with Sheldon, his roommate agreements, and his insufferable personality. In other words, Leonard had years of dealing with someone almost exactly like Sheldon and he's one of the few people on Earth who has learned to manage their ways. An episode were Beverly Hofstadter is made to realize what an abusive soul crushing parent she is, and what an egotistical narcissist bully she is, would have been both satisfied, and very worthy. A commentary on the nature of toxic abusive relationships and the pathology they induce on the victims, as well as an important display of the evil side of motherhood (a topic that rearly get the attintion it desrevs).
