CCM Axis 2 Gear Review at The Hockey Shop

I had a pair of CCM Eflex 2s and switched over to warriors G5. That integrated knee has completely changed my game. My 5 whole has been weak the past 5 years and I never knew why… until I switched my leg pads. It’s crazy seeing a shot going 5 hole and seeing and having my thigh rise saving a goal simply because it’s sealed to the ice. Out of the 5 pickups I’ve been in, there have probably been 10 goals that would’ve gone in if not for my pads. I’m exited to see the difference for my college season. That being said, these axis 2s look SICK

Love my CCM Axis 1 pads! Glad they are still innovating and finally offering a full total custom graphic option. Great camera work and editing, looking very professional and still suggest on-ice demos in your future videos..😉

I was wondering, i have true 20.1 in 33+2 and i have to switch to those, what size should i take, should i stick with 33+2 ? I like being able to move freely and stuff so i tend to downsize my pas a bit, my last pair of ccm's were eflex3 in 34+2

Will the 591 break option become stock for intermediate or will it just be custom

Isn't it every 2 year they change the gear ? So another year maybe for the Elfex 6 line ?

Is the toe sewn into the pad? I am curious because it would be nice to try out the trav4 elastic toe ties.

The toe bridge is sewn in.

The toe bridge is sewn in but the elastic is not. You can pull the CCM toe ties out and add travspec prolaces. I’ve rocked them on both my EF5s and AXIS 1s.

I purchased this set, best glove on the market I feel. Blocker not really impressed my old rbk premier 2k feels better. The pads are so disappointing. The landing on the is like landing on a rock. They should have added extra landing pad with softer cushion. Brutal my knees within a month where in pain. Switched knee protector to Kp pro but only helped a bit. But would not buy this set. 3200 very disappointing.
