CCM Jetspeed FT6 Pro vs FT5 Pro hockey stick review - What's the differences & which stick is best

I have the FT5 Pro, and so far it has been amazing. No sign of breaking soon. I also just got the FT6 Pro, and I haven’t used it yet, I am still enthusiastic to try it out, considering that the lower generation has been simply amazing. I am very happy to have got my hands on both of these sticks, and if you are looking for ratings I would definitely recommend them. Looking forward to some great more CCM Sticks!

I have both the FT5 pro and just got the FT6 Pro. The weight for me was very different especially in the blade. Shaft was whippier too. So far so good.

ive seen lots of people saying that they feel the same exept for weight. do you think that tommy is wrong or do you agree with him?

@@connorisgrab4386 I could definitely see how people say that. I think the weight reduction just makes it so much better for me. So kinda agree with both. Either way I’m happy with my upgrade.

@@davidred9266 i have a sync right now but when it eventually breaks (6 months strong rn) I think I will get either a ft6 or a 5 so im just wondering if its worth the extra$80 or however much more the 6 will be

Its because the material is different. Retail sticks have thicker material so theyre more durable

Really enjoy your Vs. videos - Would love to see you all compare prior generation top lines vs. new generation mid-lines (for purchase comparability decisions as they are often the same price at the time you buy). For example, compare CCM Jetspeed FT5 Pro to CCM Jetspeed FT6 (not pro version)

weird tommy feels that there so different cause our CCM rep for our store legit told us it’s literally just an FT5 Pro but lighter they hardly changed anything else. I’ve shot with both to and they feel honestly the same to me just the 6 definitely feels lighter which is nice. All in all get the FT6 if your thinkin about it, it’s honestly a really good stick p.s. - can’t wait for the skate review

the problem with the lighter sticks is that they break A LOT. ive seen many reviews on tiktok of them breaking and they havent even released yet

I demoted a FT5 Pro to the back yard and bought a pair of FT6 Pros for the 23/24 season starting august (switched from flex 75 to 80); for what it's worth I definitely notice the lighter feel.

@@goalieman206 honestly one of the best sticks ive ever used, the low kick point makes for incredible fast releases, but it manages to maintain its power for big slapshots n wristers, only comparable stick on the market is the sherwood rekker, unless you’re a dman, i highly recommend this stick.
