I love your Hockey awards videos. I bought the Warrior Covert QR6 Pro and your review was so helpful. Can you do a review of Valor hockey helmet? There hasn't been a lot of videos on best helmets in terms of safety and I was able to buy a Valor helmet at holiday discount. I am disappointed in what the other manufacturers have in terms of helmets.

new CCM skates instep kills my foot and feels like a tennis ball shoved in the inner mid section. I came from CCM Ribcors and now to Bauer Machs because of the CCM instep in newer skates.

I wonder how much financial support the companies of these products give to you guys to make rankings like this and how "honest" you guys really are. I'm not saying that it's all BS. But for example; I bought ccm ft6pro custom skates last year, because they were ranked so good by you guys. Total failure, and i did go back to bauer shadow custom skates after 2,5 months of CCM use. Not only was the fitting way better even when they were custom (kind of personal prefference) Also the quality of materials and durability of the products, liners and stitching on a Bauer skate is way and way better. Not even touched on the insanly poor tongue used on the CCM skates. It looks really good with the lacebite protection on it, but after only a week of use the tongue was useless. Same with sticks, I don't really see how you guys ranked Warrior this high. Our team burns trough the QR6's and Alpha's so fast and there is no one happy with needing to use them. I would go to CCM or Bauer for sticks for example. Again, i don't think it's all BS what's been told on this platform. But i have to say i've lost my trust that i had in you guys before due to the way you guys hyped up the FT6PRO skates and those are far away from how you guys promote them. For the amount of influence I think this platform has on what people buy, i feel like there could be a more honest way of approach then it seems to be right now. People be warned. Do your own research.

Thanks for your feedback. I know you mean well and have a view you’re trying to share with a comment this long. Happy to share insight. These ranking videos have no support from any brand/manufacturer but our own HT merch store. No companies get a say in what we share (or even a heads up) If we were to pick CCM as the best sticks (we’ve been paid off) if we pick Warrior (same story) a small number of viewers say this regardless of who wins. We can’t please everyone. The Warrior sticks have performed fantastically for us this season in every way! So this was reflected in the ranking. These rankings are based on our experiences with products and those closely around us involved in reviewing and testing. At the end of the day. You could buy a brand new Ferrari that breaks the first week. While someone can be driving the same car for years without any issues. That cannot be helped. The videos I produce are heartfelt and honest, while being constructive with any criticism. If you want more detailed feedback on skate reviews. Always watch our “6 months later” follow up reviews. Here we share news of durability and long term performance. It’s impossible for us to produce a durability video without using a product for at least 6 months. Hope this helps! Happy new year 👊🏾
