Yeah but it made my comp crash and the durability one cut a min short but oh well I learned my lesson lol

I just got the CCM XF Pro and it is amazing for my needs. I'm getting older, so shifting down from a 105 to 85 flex. As with many, my testing with 85 flex sticks means pucks go off to the right and the stick feels very whippy. With the mid kick point and stiff blade, it's the first 85 flex that I have been able to get used to right out of the box. For stickhandling, it is very light and feels very fast. Last but not least, I can play for weeks and not see a single stick break in my leagues that I play in twice a week. Durability doesn't seem to be much of an issue. CCM sticks aren't for everyone, but they are by far the second most sold stick on the market behind Bauer. They can't be as crappy as these guys say they are.

If you’re using this to each their own but for mid kicks there is far better sticks that would probably help your shot and game much better but again what works for you if you feel it is all that matters. You also mention using 105 flex and that’s extremely rare these days and it’s usually not a good strategy. Because I use so many sticks I find a lot of people come on my channel and say I’m incorrect about a stick because they like it. If you have only used a few sticks here and there a tacks in comparison to something else you have had for years very much will be an improvement. That’s not how I review sticks. So please keep that in mind. It’s great to hear it works for your needs but objectively it’s not great

I found something on Reddit for the ft8 pro, it seems like the design is exactly like the trigger 8 pro and it also seems like there isn’t a helicoid blade on it. I think you got your wish 🎉
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviewsКүн бұрын
It’s in some marketing materials and some others I touch on this in my durability vid so we aren’t quite sure but sounds like a hybrid helicoid
@susanbal438Күн бұрын
ah okay, makes sense. My bad 😅
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviewsКүн бұрын
@ my guess will take 2-3 more releases to remove helicoid completely
@susanbal438Күн бұрын
Well, I guess I won’t be going back to ccm sticks for that time then

i loved that ccms design team said “it’s helicoiding time” and helicoided all their sticks.

CCM needs to get their s.. together. It’s quite unfortunate they’re compromising the trust earned with previous models.
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews2 күн бұрын
It’s true I won’t be gaming a ccm for awhile
@aborum752 күн бұрын
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews just "stick" with a previous model that works, as long as they're available. Let's hope the declining quality doesn't roll over to the other product lines.
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviewsКүн бұрын
@ they will eventually fix this but they eating it for awhile as stuff in production

Do lower-tier CCM sticks have more durable blades, or do all CCM stick lines have these blades? Thanks!
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviewsКүн бұрын
Once helicoid is removed yes they are better usually 1-2 down line

i still dont know why ccm decided to change there blades, like there was nothing wrong with them. There new soft blades have better "feel" but there puck feel with the stiff blades was good too. thats why im still buying ft6s and trigger7s
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews2 күн бұрын
Wierd decision that’s probably gonna haunt them for awhile
@aborum752 күн бұрын
FT6 Pro are so durable and a treat to use with their stuff blades. Would wish CCM kept producing that model.

You think t7 has a stiff blade ? I though it was quite dampen ( i havent tried a ft stick but curious about the ft6..)
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews2 күн бұрын
@ it had the agility blade from what I can remember and is much different than the 8 and now 9. But it’s been awhile since
@Max-sn5ktКүн бұрын
I think they will discontiue the tacks line of stick, i dont see alot of player using them and by looking at the line up, there is only 3 price range on this line of stick now( xfpro, xf and xf70)
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviewsКүн бұрын
It’s basically dead so probably best.
@penek60882 күн бұрын
i could say any random letter and ccm will somehow find a way to make it a shaft shape

Dream job but yeah no lol you got hockey tutorial, hockey reviews getting sticks from every manufacturer and they get what they want out of them in exposure, so they won’t unfortunately but a man can dream!

The asvi pro was good I liked it a lot and prob my fav stick In the past years but that blade sucks had 2 both in the blades and I also think the xf sucks but I think the proto is better as it has more power and is better in both aspects so why would u buy a xf when u got a proto as i think its better then the tacks in the past years
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews2 күн бұрын
Proto is probably best mid kicker right now.
@nikolaijust3002Күн бұрын
I'm sure prostockhockeysticks has its own issues, but I'm not sure why anyone would spend modern day prices on these sticks these days, especially CCM. For us beer leaguers, it just doesn't make any sense, let alone for the kids.
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviewsКүн бұрын
Most sticks have pros and cons but there is a significant advantage to knowing how to shoot your style and teaming that with a top stick. That’s kinda my next vid. Doesn’t have to be top top but rocking a wood Sherwood isn’t a good plan
@nolan53642 күн бұрын
even the asV is so much better than the shitty xf
@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews2 күн бұрын
Yeah it wasn’t near as bad much stiffer and of course no helicoid
