NVM, I just saw it in the description. It's crazy, bc that is the most important part of the configuration to make this work in your lab environment but everybody seems to omit this from books and videos. I get that it's more of a service provider thing, but it should still be talked about.

Yes, you configure the PPPoE server on the ISP router ( In my diagram). The IP address is pulled from the ISP router. The command is "ip local pool WOPool X.X.X.X X.X.X.X" I have the configuration in the description.

If you're referring to the ISP side, I'm not exactly sure. The CCNA exam doesn't care about that, only the client-side config.

0:29 Just as a side note...would mtu 1492 be a layer 2 concept since its dealing with frame size? Or is it referring to packet size?

I will quote from the CCNA book. "Normally, the IP MTU defaults to 1500. PPPoE adds another 8-byte header, reducing by 8 bytes the space for the IP packet, so reducing the IP MTU to 1492 prevents the router from having to do unnecessary work to fragment packets."
