Small extra to the botnets they can be extremely powerful because if the rise of IoT device in the last years. There are so many internet-connected devices (not only computers, routers etc) worldwide who are not well secured. I mean stuff like Toasters, Lights, Fridges, Babyphones, Cars, all kind of smarthome stuff, even medical or agriculture equipment, smoke detectors, or even some "adult toys", vending machines and so much more.
