I watched the module 1's videos as well! I'm now midway of watching this one, and I'll be watching the rest of your videos as too! Your teaching is much better than the lecturer I had in the university. Thanks a lot Sanuja!!

I would recommend to read whole chapter first and then watch a particular video of that chapter and, it will help a lot than just watching the video first. Best of luck all 🎉

hey man love the videos, just a quick question tho, my final itn exam will be done on physical hardware instead of packet tracer so how do I enter the switch CLI through a computer? what commands do I need to use and how should i hook up the switch and routers?
@NetITGeeks Жыл бұрын
Your proctor should provide you with serial cables. You will have to connect that cable to the the switch/router and the other end to your laptop/PC. The Cisco device will appear under the Device Manager (which you don't have to check). Then you will use PuTTY. In PuTTY, navigate to Configuration > Connection > Serial and make sure the settings are correct. You should be given instructions on the PuTTY settings or it should have been part of the course/class. PuTTY software is the terminal you use. The Cisco commands will be same as using the Packet Tracer simulator. The only caveat is that the devices will be slow. Some of the commands, once entered may take few seconds longer to process than it is on the Packet Tracer. If you had to reboot your Cisco devices, it will take longer to power back up as these are real devices. Please make sure to save your configurations using copy running-config startup-config for each device as you know, reboots and shutdowns wipes the RAM. Just relax and you will do great. Good luck on your exam.

This is based on CCNA courses provided by Cisco. If you are looking for the course materials, please check my KZbin Comminity post (my channel's Community tab) for a link to a website.

Try searching Google and you might come across university/college websites with the slides posted. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to post slides online but only allowed to use to teach people as far as I know. I do not have a Cisco agreement to post slide sets for download. In addition, I had no intention of posting them online so I didn't bother to ask Cisco for permission.

Yes and no. I am Canadian culturally and citizenship-wise. I was born in Sri Lanka and my family has Sri Lankan background as well. But I grew up in Canada since I was a kid and I have been a Canadian for a longer time than a Sri Lankan. :) Thank you for asking.

This is usually how these CCNA courses are being delivered in academic institution. But different instructors may go over the notes in different ways that may help some people. You can try other KZbin channels for a different explanation that fits your learning style.
