yes, but you can see on different way is also valod, 25 bits on subnet mask or 7 bits for hosts, and 26 bits on the subnet mask or 6 bits for hosts

Since the 2960 switch does not support ipv6, and my professor said that we don’t have to configure ipv6 on the switches. Does that mean skip the step by erasing the startup configurations and vlans on the switch to reload it.

Subnet A 192.168.10.0/25 and Subnet B 192.168.10.128/27 here for my assessment, very similair config to yours in the video., Any obvious reason as to why I would be able to have all successful pings on PC-A except to PC-B IPv6 2001:dba:acad:b::b? I had successful IPv4 pings from PC-B out except IPv6 pings 2001:db8:acad:B::1, 2001:db8:acad:a::1, 2001:db8:acad:a::2 all failed? Any help is appreciated. ( I used the 3650)

@@romeroc24 the college I attend to does mostly networking stuff and we just finished off the basic of subnetting which the instructor wanted to do these skills assessment at first when I look at it gets very confusing but it takes time because for some reasons subnetting isn’t a thing you can learn in one day or one week I shall say at least a month is needed to master a thing like subnetting because due to things u need they ask u in a exam amount of hosts aka ranges, IP address,subnet mask and default gateway

I'm doing this same assessment in Netlab. I was able to configure R1 with no problem but when it came to configuring S1 I ran into 2 issues. Issue #1 (All 3 int range commands g1/0/1-4, g1/0/7-24 and g1/1/1-4 are all saying invalid input). Issue #2 ipv6 address fe80::2 link-local and ipv6 address 2001:db8:acad:a::2/64 are also saying invalid input. Please help!!!!

I was able to do the SDM change to support ipv6 in PT 8.1.1 Use "sdm prefer dual-ipv4-and-ipv6 default" command after S1(config)# then, S1(config)# exit then save: S1# copy run start and then reload. I was even able to do it after I had already configured the switch.

link-local only has relevance in the local link or local subnet, so you can use different link-local addresses on different subnets but also you can use the same address

Usually you're really helpful but what is happening with your choice to change switch models?? You can assign IPv6 addresses to a 2960. You're just choosing not to do so. No idea why you would do that.
