I just watched this and think it’s the most comprehensive review/retelling of one of the most mind-boggling DC stories OF ALL TIME! VERY well spelled-out! Morrison's always been a damn good writer who's never lost for interesting ideas and has written some really memorable and entertaining stuff, (Doom Patrol, The Invisibles, his X men and his Justice League stuff; although perhaps the less said about his dire 7 soldiers the better) and this certainly another decent enough romp through the multiverse, but once again it looks back to the first and by far and away still the best of these increasingly frequent all things end epics; Crisis on Infinite Earths, I remember the detail and the tight and complex plot, some really great cliff hangers that made me count the days until the next issue came out and this really isn't like that at all.

@Comicsisland - am I the first (nice job btw) to suggest that David Foster Wallace (Infinite Jest) is the Grant Morrison of novels or vice-versa (uni-versa!) - somebody needs to email Grant about Infinite Jest. We used to call it (before the days of self-deprecating irony where you take the piss out of your own work before anybody else does "self indulgence" and don't get me wrong I love some of Grant's work. Big ideas - a few undeveloped or overdeveloped, perhaps. Why do speedster's have to "sacrifice" themselves? Big job - thanks for doing your homework. Please do voices more even if they are shite people dig them.

Gretel MKII I think this is something akin to the time Darkseid nearly took over everything by being a mobster and gained the anti-life equation, causing a crisis. More so, if your core is something akin to when Shazam brought all the versions of Supermans, and before that event happens there's a much more dissected form of convergence and made more separated than that comic. Then again, I'm dissecting the comic from the attempt of a summary from comicsisland.

Let me give it a shot. Nix Uotan thought he was a monitor, but was really a cosmic vampire. He helped Superman defeat the worst of the cosmic vampires and was freed from his vampirism. The dead cosmic vampire's stuff came looking for its owner but got side tracked by all the tasty morsels of story to devour cause like vampire like stuff. No no that didn't make sense either. A cosmic vampire devours stories (moments) not blood. The last cosmic vampire died but nobody went back to his house to clean up his stuff and his stuff spilled out onto the street. This was everyone cleaning up the cosmic vampire's cosmically vampiric stuff. The big guy at the end had nothing in his hand. He was a guy, maybe also a vampire, but definitely not stuff. At this point I get kinda lost as well but I think that was supposed to be in the sequel
