Thanks so much for all of these Copic comparison videos. They were excellent, and so useful. I watched each one over and over. They helped me decide on a group of color families to begin my collection, which I did over Christmas. Still, there are variations between markers that, unfortunately, can't be determined without a side by side demonstration of similar markers between color families. Take the reds, for instance. I bought several R1's and R2's. Once I swatched them, I realized that, for an initial set anyway, I probably could have purchased either R11 or R20, R14 or R22, and R17 or R24. I'm sure your trained eye can easily spot the difference between these markers but, as a novice, I can barely see it. However, when I want a very slight variation between reds, I do have that. To wrap this up, I've wound up with a beautiful starter set of markers that work and that I love, and I'm positive that without your videos, my guesswork choices would have resulted in many near-duplicate colors or shades that wouldn't blend. Again, thank you. I really appreciate the time you took to share this information.
