I really appreciate this series. I draw my own wrestling posters, and its often hard to figure out what colors I should use, to achieve a strong resemblance to the reference image. In this case, I was doing a repeated layer of the same image, and needed a base red, and then red lighter than the base red. I must thank you, because this has come in super handy.

R43-S Bougainvillaea - that is the same as the bush/flowers …. Boo-gen-veya. Spanish where two “L”s are pronounced as “Y”. And the “gain” is more gen, like Ken. Thank you for doing these videos - they are great and so helpful!! ❤

I wondered if someone was going to tell her how to pronounce it. It’s funny when you are around the plant all the time and hear people say it regularly , you don’t stop to think how strange the name looks in print. Weirdly Merriam-Webster has your pronunciation & that’s definitely the way I hear most people say it, but Random House has this pronunciation: boo-guhn-vil-ee-uh. Either way I love the color it provides. There’s a hillside near where I live that’s covered in one of the red varieties that’s stunning.

R43 is pronounced bo-gan-villia. After the tropical climbing flower. Google "pronunciation"... It might also say "boo-gan-villia".
