CCs to chademo North American Nissan leaf . Finally able to work?

CCs to chademo . Downloaded the newest firmware update here in North America put it on my thumb drive and installed it on that adapter. Did I get it to work? Having watched EV Niculus, I think you might be pressing the adaptor start button too soon. Try plugging in the adaptor into the car first, followed by the chargers CCS plug, and then the start button on the charger to begin the charger, followed by the start button on the adaptor. If you can use the contactless rather than the cell phone, it may also make a difference, as there could be a time lag. Another observation I notice is to leave the plug and adaptor alone, as you tend to wriggle the plug and adaptor whilst it is try to communicate. Plus try and stick with one type of charging network first, don't wiz around trying them all, because the hand shake might be different between each type of charging network. It might be that you will have to take note, which firmware works with which charging network. So that when you visit that network you will need to make sure you have the right firmware in the adaptor prior to charging. Good luck.

Bummer that even the new firmware isn't working. Feels like it must be a CCS1 issue if the rest of the testers around the globe have it working with CCS2. Hopefully the logging isn't overly complicated to set up and Dongguan can get this figured out. Thanks for perceiving!

All my firmware is ccs2 but when they send me the firmware update I’m told to change it in the code to ccs1 before installing

try different ways/orders of plugging in, pushing buttons etc. and get yourself a RFID card to use the charging stations its better than using a dumb app.

A lot of the chargers here in Florida do not use RFID. They’re all turned off forcing you to use the apps.

Ohh I send messages all the time, but the best way for them to do it would be for one of The enginearest the fly over rent a car. Or ride around with one of us. Testing the Chargers for a couple of days getting all the info. They need period the company in Canada is requesting that 1 of their engineers fly down and ride around in the car with me. And do the testing so they can create the software as we test.Possibly in a couple of weeks period this company should probably do the same thing
