Hi, let me ask you somethinhg. When we are exporting all tile , there is some way to edit the time of all videos from just one time?

Yes. Select the tile you’re exporting and then click the “synchronize tiles” button. All other tiles will be synced up with the selected tile now.

Great training Phil, thanks! Is there a feature that will track an individual as he/she moves and is detected by the next camera? I other words, instead of switching cameras manually, the detected motion will do it automatically. I now that it will not work well when motion is detected by many cameras at the same time, but it will do at night/non-business hours. Thanks

Unfortunately not. Visual tracking is still a manual process as of today. That said, there are other systems that claim to be able to pull off what you are asking for. However, the reason this typically doesn't work too well is because, in a busy environment, there may be many people that look the same and therefore the AI will provide inaccurate tracking. The way most systems get around this is by asking you to verify the person, which kind of defeats the purpose of the automatic tracking... :P

Hey there! What if after you've programed everything into the config tool system and it didn't configure? I've logged out of the Genetec security desk and logged in and the work I've done in Config Tool hasn't generated into the camera system. We have the 5.12.1.0 version.

Oh boy. I can't imagine why that would have happened. Be sure you save you settings in each camera before moving to the next one.

If u have 7000 cameras what is Genetec recommendation to decide on number of needed active directories ?

That is a really difficult question to answer because there are a number of variables to consider (camera type, system architecture, number of users, network conditions, etc). The downside is when you set it up and then your integrator swaps out or upgrades your cameras and does not include the visual tracking settings.....
