Even many people from her fan base, UAENA has commented that IU and Taehyung really are close friends because even though IU is older than Taehyung, IU and V spoke informal Korean with one another. They teased each other a lot on the show which was cute, more like comfortable friends rather than as MC and guest. IU did speak more formal Korean with both Jhope and Yoongi when they guested on her show. @ ok let’s unpack the comment. V is not a vocalist but a singer. This is acknowledged as BTS are primarily RAP/Dance grp. The main singer is jungkook. Next Jin. Lots of vocal coaches will back this. You can hear it. Even IU hinted it. As 4 songwriting. It’s like saying I’m an author. Doesn’t mean I good at it. He has written some songs but compared to IU, RM, Suga etc he is not an acknowledged/respected songwriter. Many idols now use AI to help the process. To rate V is to actually hear other artists & then u will understand when I say compared to IU there is no equivalence. Which is the context of response to the comment re IU & V. Perhaps view like jungkook - why do I need to be.

IU has a very eclectic music taste. She also loves bossa nova, which you can hear on her “Modern Times” album. I’m a bit disappointed none of her Palette guests have ever chosen a song from that album, since it’s a treasured classic. Too bad her channel does not upload the English lyrics for her songs for Palette episodes, but you can find their translated “Ending Scene” duet on YT. It’s more impactful when you read the lyrics she wrote. Love Wins All was filmed way after this episode. As the producer, she personally chose V to star.

Tae IU friendship is so adorable and their chemistry is off the charts as seen in LWA MV. Everyone and their mama were gobsmacked when they saw this episode when it first aired coz no one had a clue they are such close friends! Uenas (IU FB) said that they rarely see her laugh and interact like that with other guests, coz most are people she respected but not necessarily her friends. They are as enchanted as Army with their adorable bond. IU’s interactions with Yoongi is more of chingu as they are the same age so not surprising they bicker and have mutual respect. While IU and Hobi were cute coz Hobi was nervous during Palette. Not either of their faults, just that IU respected Hobi (as evidenced by invitation to her show), but they are not close friends, hence the interaction with Hobi is more respected colleagues rather than friends. I will always remember this Palette episode for 1. how V was ready to take IU's band. 😅 I don't blame him.
