The referee called it correctly. The ball into the net was the first contact, followed by digging it up, and the ball being played over. Easy call made correctly.

Unfortunate, sure, that the ref calls at the end of set 4 had such a big impact on the match, but it's Champlin Park's responsibility to stay focused and keep playing. They let themselves down. (And I say this as a Champlin Park fan)

@@ChadTheDragonLord I saw the same. Couldn't see it in the initial replay but the zoom in between sets you could see the outside blocker's right thumb seemed to move/bend which indicates touch. As a middle blocker myself, I can say that your hands/fingers DO NOT move like that when you go up for a block unless you impact the ball.

Gabriel Sanidad it’s legal if the setter is contacting the dump under the net. People typically think it’s no jumping, but it’s actually whether or not the ball is contacted below the height of the net, which it seems it is.
